- 2011-11-03 - ESF Q label phase 2
The ESF Q label was granted on the basis of the positive result of an audit on November 3th 2011. The label was granted for 3 years.
- 2011-09-23 - BRC-A certificate and IFS certificate higer grade
On 23/09/2011 Demival was awarded its BRC certificate grade A and IFS certificate higher grade for packing chocolate products and pralines.
This means that Demival complies with the Global Standard for Food Safety and the International Food Standard.
- 2010-12-29 - Ambassadors
On 11th June 2010, Demival appointed the following companies and organisations as Ambassadors for Sheltered Employment in Flanders:
Deinze Town Council; Guylian NV; Friesland Campina NV; CMC NV; HMC International NV; Aucxis Trading Solutions BVBA; CTO NV; Nexans Cabling Solutions; ATS Brussels NV and AV Medical NV
- 2010-12-29 - Solar panels
Working in collaboration with Enfinity, 1,500 solar panels have been installed on +/- 9,400 mē of roof area at Demival.
These panels will generate 300,000 kWh of green energy annually.
Over a period of 20 years, this will prevent 4.2 million kg of CO2 from being emitted
Demival will be able to use part of this green power for its own business activities.
